This painting was created with a limited palette of Ultramarine Blue, India Yellow, and Transparent Red Oxide plus white. I further limited the palette by mixing the red and the yellow together to create a dull orange, and then used only that plus the blue and white to create the painting. (I did cheat and added a bit of yellow paint to the sunlit grass- it just didn't work without it).
